6 Delicious Dipping Sauce Recipes to Enjoy with Fried Clams

 

Here are the recipes for the sauces mentioned:

1.Tartar sauce:

 

·         1/2 cup mayonnaise

·         2 tablespoons finely chopped dill pickles

·         1 tablespoon capers, drained and finely chopped

·         1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

·         1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives

·         1 teaspoon Dijon mustard           

·         1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

·         1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

·         2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

·         Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

 

Whisk together the melted butter and lemon juice in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.

 

4.Remoulade sauce:

 

·         1/2 cup mayonnaise

·         1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

·         1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

·         1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives

·         1 tablespoon capers, drained and finely chopped

·         1 tablespoon chopped dill pickles

·         1 small garlic clove, minced

·         1/2 teaspoon paprika

·         1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

·         Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

 

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and stir well. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

 

5.Honey mustard sauce:

 

·         1/4 cup honey

·         1/4 cup Dijon mustard

·         2 tablespoons mayonnaise

·         1 tablespoon white wine vinegar

·         Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

 

Whisk together all ingredients in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

 

6.Chipotle mayo:

 

·         1/2 cup mayonnaise

·         1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, minced

·         1 tablespoon adobo sauce (from the can of chipotle peppers)

·         1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

·         Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

 

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and stir well. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
