Paneer Delight: A Mouthwatering Recipe for the Perfect Indian Cheese Dish

Paneer is a popular Indian cheese that is often used in vegetarian dishes. Here is a recipe for a basic paneer dish that can be used as an entree or side dish:

Ingredients:

·         Paneer (400 grams), cut into cubes

·         Onion (1 medium), finely chopped

·         Tomatoes (2 medium), finely chopped

·         Ginger-garlic paste (1 tablespoon)

·         Green chili (1), chopped

·         Cumin seeds (1/2 teaspoon)

·         Turmeric powder (1/2 teaspoon)

·         Red chili powder (1/2 teaspoon)

·         Coriander powder (1 teaspoon)

·         Garam masala powder (1/2 teaspoon)

·         Salt to taste

·         Oil for cooking

·         Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

·         Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they start to crackle, add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.

·         Add ginger-garlic paste and green chili to the pan and sauté for a minute.

·         Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, and salt to the pan. Mix well and cook until the tomatoes become soft and the mixture turns into a thick paste.

·         Add paneer cubes to the pan and mix well so that the paneer gets coated with the tomato-spice mixture.

·         Cook for a few minutes until the paneer is heated through and the flavors have blended together.

·         Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan, roti or rice.

·         This basic paneer recipe can be easily modified by adding other vegetables such as bell peppers or green peas, or by adjusting the spices to suit your taste preferences. Enjoy!
